God’s problem
When we talk about God, there are usually 3 postures: the non-believers, the believers, and the fanatics. All of them have the same problem or response: the relationship with a Superior Being.
Many people tend to judge God as a punisher, a clockwork or a loving father, all of them may or may not be the right reason to believe, what is true is that: we need to have a relationship with a Superior Being to be able to be happy, we know that that being (love, energy, a person, or a spirit) is the cause of our existence.
When we don’t have a relationship with a Superior Being we tend to make any man or thing a God and that is when we are unjust, because we need a Superior Being and no man nor thing is fit to have that power.
When we talk to clients in philosophical counselling, the test we made shows us there is an obsession with God of not wanting to believe, therefore to have a relationship with God, people usually say that they don’t need it to be happy. In reality, they are preoccupied with having something universal and all-powerful to have a relationship.
Being a fanatic is one of the most dangerous relations we have as humans, because we cannot question or doubt our relationship with God, and end up giving our responsibility for our choices. We do not need someone or something running behind our backs to check on us, or to punish what we do. There is no special bond or something different to be chased by a God, only the responsibility for our actions, it is simply causing an effect.
When we believe in a Superior Being and have a relationship with it, we are just to others and ourselves, because we have a proportion in our relations.
If you want to be happy, practice piety, the virtue of having a belief in a Superior Being.
