It is never OK

After all the testimonials about Harvey Weinstein’s sexual assaults, we realize that glamorous life is not as glamorous as we think it is. But the main problem Hollywood and the rest of the world faces is the constant mediatization of people, the constant battle of sexes and the distortion of love.

There are many places and situations that may seem like an advantage, but nothing nor anyone can justify abuse from others. It doesn’t matter what kind of abuse it is, there is no reason for it.

What is bad is everthing that goes against anyone, like killing, violence and pain. These come in various forms: abuse, torture, lies, corruption, etc. There are many things that come to our minds that are bad and there is no way to justify nor tolerate them.

No one has the right to treat others as means to an end: pleasure, convenience, ideas, etc. We cannot treat people for what we can take from them, much less to abuse our position and take advantage of it. It is a sad reality, and it is not new to hear about abuses in the filming industry, politics and other areas. Men and women have been harassed; live having lived through this leaves a stain that doesn’t go away It affects our personality and relations; from kindergarten bullies to job abuse, there is nothing that can justify this type of action.

We are all victims and guilty of abuse when we accept wrong ideas, convenient deals and lack of empathy to gain whatever we want. Love is not abuse, it is not tolerance and it definitely does not admit violence.

I do agree that medialization makes a small problem seem huge (from the term scrupulous) or vice verse, and the more we judge a public situation the less we realize how serious it is. The problem with a lot of famous people is that they think they can do whatever they want, no matter how wrong it is, and lately it is more and more drastic, either taking drugs or using people as a mean instead of an end. And a lot of people get confused, but a good intention or a good end does not justify a bad action.. Basic ethics.
