What it takes…

Being a leader is having the ability to acknowledge the small details and make them work, so society can move forward and be better. A leader needs a team effort because in this quest to improve he or she needs the different abilities and capacities that everyone can offer. As Drew Houston, founder of Dropbox, agrees: “The most successful people are obsessed with solving an important problem, something that matters to them. They remind me of a dog chasing a tennis ball. To increase your own chances of happiness and success, you must find your tennis ball—the thing that pulls you.”

A leader doesn’t mean we need to create or to become famous, but to constantly question ourselves: What do I really care about? What am I meant to do? Those questions help us have our head in the ground and live without chasing ghosts or things that cannot be true.

Being a leader consists of tending to reality what is there and what isn’t. Once we find the answers, then we can follow our passion:  What would I do if I could never fail? What would I do if I received a billion dollars today?

If we find our passion we are sure to build a business and capitalize our dreams so we can make society better. «It is not only about you as an entrepreneur, however. It is also about your employees.» Having an enterprise is not a one-man job, it is the team effort that enriches the work with each and every difference that makes everyone move in the right direction.
