You are the greatest show
If we expect others to consider and value who we are in the most upworthy way, we may realize that it is impossible, or they won’t even see what they have in front of them. We cannot expect others to give us value, we must do it for ourselves. Of course we want to feel accepted, but we can’t make others consider us and appreciate us if we wait for them to realize.
The movie «The greatest showman» shows us that, when we spend our strenghts satifying others and making others like us, we may miss all the things that we can do without their approval. Bullies and victims are hand-in-hand. Thus, there is the one who wants to feel appreciated or is envious of who we are or what we have, and the passive victim that expects to be saved instead of trusting who they are and what they can do.
Nobody will see us for who we are if we don’t show them what we are able to do. We are all freaks, we are all capable to love if we start loving ourselves to give love to others. Pity and discrimination are just simplistic tools to make others feel miserable as they are. They don’t love themselves, so how would they love us?
Life may become hard, but if we focus on what is most important: us, then we will succeed in whatever we want.
