Labeling: DUFF

In a world where people tend to name everything, it is almost impossible we don’t have any tag on us. Mankind has always put a name on things and with it we refer to them. It is essential to have a name to each thing we see. Wittgensteing used to say that the limits to our intelligence are because of language. We cannot think if we don’t have a name for it. Try it. It’s hard.

It’s not fair to judge people because we don’t know what the others are living. Even if we do, we can’t be certain of what is happening inside their heads.

People act because they have a reason to do it, perhaps it is not the best one we could come up with, but for them it is. Life is more than labelling others, as if we had the right to do it; we should understand others and let them be. To judge is to feel superior without being over the situation. We must accept others for who they are and not what we think of them. Try to listen instead of speaking.
