Does religion determine knowledge?

The movie The physician talks about the journey of ancient science to help medics heal their patients from their disseases, and wounds and to avoid death. In Medraza there is a philosopher and medic called Ibn Sina, also known as Avicena who studied human nature and found an explanation to avoid sickness and restore health.

Rob is an English man who is an orphan and is adopted by a barber who helps cure some diseases and treat them with mixtures and experiments like cutting hair, removing teeth, curing infections. But with no knowledge whatsoever of the cause and effects of whether this may cause pain or restore health.
The political and religious situation at the hospital and the learning center is among three of the most important monotheistic religions: Christianity, Judaism and Islam. Everyone who lives there respects others without interferring in their knowledge, I mean, no matter what religion was preached everyone had the opportunity to learn about medicine. Science was taken as a knowledge that could help believe more in whatever religion, because we all can suffer from the same sicknesses.
Ibn Sina: Because there is nothing to be afraid of.Death is merely a threshold we must all cross… into the silence, after the final heartbeat… drifting away with our final exhalation… into eternal peace…
We all can know things. Knowledge is power to help others and to do good, but with personal interests it tends to corrupt and make people greedy and suspicious of the fact that others may have more than us. That is what happened to Avicena’s hospital: to think that knowing more would corrupt beliefs instead of using those beliefs to honor God.
Ignorance may be bliss but it doesn’t make us happy. Knowledge helps us grow and love better in whom we believe. It cannot be bad. Ignorant people will judge as bad what they don’t know; they may be stronger and richer, but not powerful to avoid the truth.
