What is stopping you?

There are many things in life that come to us as a challenge, obstacle, opportunities, people, power, money, etc. there is always someone or something that keeps us from achieving what we want or what we think we need at the moment. It is like some force in the universe, god or something making our life harder. Or what we want seems impossible and we don´t like it because we aren’t worth it? 

Life is hard; living is like a Greek tragedy where all of us are fighting our own battles and have different problems that make us quit and live an easy life if there is one. The only difference is that there is no one to blame. We don’t have gods that decide for us; there are no parents we can blame for what has happened because, in the end, it depends on us. We are waiting for someone to save us, to wave their magic wand and change everything, make it easier or do or just give them what we want. But if we earn it without effort, will we be able to recognize its value? 

The cosmos is conspiring against us. There is nothing we can do to live better if we don’t do anything to make our life easier. The fact is, it all depends on us, what we let pass by or not is on us. Our decisions make our path harder or easier. We must learn to see what we want and be realistic in what we can have or not and work for it. Nobody gives away things for free, it all has a cost. What are you willing to pay for it?
