Let others live
When we talk about freedom we think there is a concept we are used to: “let others do what they like”, but in fact when we face people living and saying things that we believe are against what we think and do, we get offended and try to change their views and lives according to our own.
To let other do whatever they want is a Relativist posture, that basically says: whatever others do they are right, when in fact letting others do has a moral implication: their actions are good or evil, and we must tolerate whatever the action for the sake of the persona, that is not freedom, is just a lack of judgment in a matter that impacts on humanity.
By being relativist we even make enemies due to our ideologies, beliefs and actions that we don’t approve of. At the same time, we feel the need to be accepted with our ideologies, beliefs and actions like a universal truth.
Nowadays we focus on what we differ mostly, instead of seeing the good things, the qualities that others have that enrich us, those things make us better people.
When we judge we cut off the head of things, there is no way it can be different to what we judge. But things can change and they do, once a wall was red, now is white. But people don’t change, and judging them is cutting ahead that will not grow back again.
Let others live is not allowing them to do and think what they desire as long as they agree with our ideologies, but to avoid judging others and see the good things they have to show us.
