When tragedy strike

Some things in life can feel far too painful for us to acknowledge. But consider this: the intensity of an event doesn’t change the underlying truth we must face. Pain, in one form or another, is an inevitable part of our journey, but we hold the power to choose what it means for us.

It’s true that circumstances can feel out of our control, and it’s not always our fault. However, it remains our responsibility to rise above and move forward.

I like to think of life as a game of cards. Each of us is dealt a unique hand—some may receive better cards than others. While it’s easy to dwell on the unfairness of our situation and feel like we’ve been dealt a bad hand, the essence of the game lies in how we play those cards. It’s about the choices we make, the risks we take, and the consequences we choose to embrace. The individuals who consistently make the best choices, regardless of the hand they’re dealt, are often the ones who come out on top—both in poker and in life.

Remember, while we are not to blame for our challenges, we are always responsible for our actions. We have the capacity to move forward, despite our struggles, and to make the best choices we can, given our circumstances.

As the saying goes, «Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, but learning to dance in the rain.» So let us embrace our journey, collect our experiences, and learn to dance through life’s challenges with grace and resilience.
