Ignorance is bliss

Life just happens. If we are able to see that then our worries seem to fade away. When we try to find meaning and a significance to everything that happens to us, we are doomed to be miserable. When we try to explain every little detail that life has, we lie to ourselves trying to find the truth.

Life is as it is, that is the whole truth, but when we are trying to add a reason to explain what is happening, we are doomed to tell a lie. Just as the subtitles from the movies, they aren’t 100% accurate, they tell another thing to what is really happening. If we focus on them, we lose sight of the main things that are really there. When we search for the truth in every aspect, we lose focus on what is important: now.

Nietzsche’s philosophy may seem absurd and obscure, but we can learn that life is just as it is, with no reason nor ideas that may lie to us. The problem is that those who are always trying to find a reason or an explanation for everything are miserable because in life there are so many things unexpected that we cannot understand nor control. If we realize this, we will be happier. Focus on what is happening, that is the important thing that is there, not what we think of it. The truth becomes a lie when we forget that life, like shit, simply happens.
