We live in a world where we constantly confront reality. I mean, we live in a world ruled by laws that govern the reality outside ourselves and we are submerged in them also. Perhaps we would like to change many things in our lives and modify what is happening to us because we may not be able to handle them.

Seeing reality as it is, is what truth is all about: to mean what we say that is there in the world; to recognize the facts in the world and our capability to identify what we think versus what is there.

Living in reality, the real world is a habit we must exercise every day. It depends on us to see reality for what it is and not for what we expect or want it to be. Things will still happen whether we are there or not. The world will continue moving no matter what we may think of it. The habit of seeing the world as it is is called humility.

If we are humble we are capable of accepting the things happening in the world, the emotions that we feel, and the ideas we have about the world to accept the truth as it is. We may be wrong in our decisions, but we can always begin and try to amend things. Accepting reality is an act of being humble by living in the truth of what is happening in the world and in our lives.
